Building the perfect curved window soffit.

On this contract, again which was mainly cornice work we were asked to solve the problem of their curved soffit detail at the bathroom window, which was recessed into the dormer. Their first attempt was with flexible hardboard which clearly did not work. We were then asked to form a precast fibrous plaster soffit which provided the perfect geometric shape, and a sharp moulded aris finish onto the sloping wall.
