Are you looking at creating an ornate plaster feature that is simply not available as a standard product?
This could simply be a custom made cornice design or profile, or a made to measure column encasement?
Are you looking to create a complete ceiling design that provides the highest level of ‘wow’ factor, possibly designing something equally as grand and ornate as some of the most decorative century old ceilings found in our country’s many stately homes?
Reproduction Plaster Company have vast experience in offering clients a bespoke design service when something special is required above and beyond the standard product. We can work either from an architects design proposal, or we can deal directly with the client themselves to discuss their requirements, or ‘vision’, providing design ideas illustrated using our AutoCAD drawing service. Simply give us a call and someone will gladly run through the options available to produce what you're looking for.

Residential New Build Case Study 1
From a photographic illustration taken from a publication on historic ornate stately homes, the client looked for a completely bespoke custom designed ceiling as part of a stunning new build development. Using our archive of plaster enrichments, we set these enrichments into moulding profiles which created the overall shape and girth of the required cornice and beam soffit cross-sections. Creating the scale and proportions we were striving for, complete with the ornate detail, we were able to produce this magnificent ceiling design.
Residential New Build Case Study 2
From an architects design, we manufactured and installed this magnificent feature dome detail to the upper stairwell of a spectacular new build project. At six metres in diameter, with a perimeter cornice detail nearly two metres in girth, there is no underestimating the complexity and sheer scale of this massively impressive plaster detail.
We also supplied and installed the many fluted Doric columns in the surrounding area, complete with our C489 cornice which seamlessly flows from straight into curve. However they almost hide unnoticed in the shadows of this truly wonderful display of plaster engineering.
Residential New Build Case Study 3
In this project the client wished to encase structural steel columns which were so large that there was no standard column product on the market large enough for the purpose. We were therefore instructed to model, manufacture a mould and cast eight custom designed columns with a necessary diameter of 500mm.
Residential New Build Case Study 4
The design of this ceiling was again inspired by illustrations of historic stately homes for a magnificent residential new build project. The centre of the ceiling had a particular ‘branch’ detail the client wanted replicated, and to do this our artist formed a clay model of the detail to allow procurement of a silicone mould and castings to be made.
The recessed coffer plaques were custom designed from our enrichment archive, along with the detail beam casement with ornate soffit, and perimeter cornice detail.
Residential Refurb Case Study 1
The client in this example purchased a stately mansion which had lain derelict for around 30 years. Following two years of roof replacement works and external stonework repairs to make the property watertight, designs began on reinstating the empty shell into something spectacular. The hallways, dining room and drawing room were the main points of interest, and after several design meetings with the client we were instructed to transform our AutoCAD design drawings into reality.
Residential Refurb Case Study 2
In this project the client had a fantastic stately home which had lost many of the original plaster ceilings. He wanted to create ceiling designs which complimented the splendour of many of the existing features which had been retained throughout the property.
It was know that the architect Horace Walpole was responsible for an 18th century extension to this property, but was more famous for his creation 'Strawberry Hill' in London. As a result of this knowledge we presented the client with a design inspired by the 'round room' at Strawberry Hill, which was promptly accepted and instructed.
The complete manufacturing process was taken from our proposed AutoCAD design drawings, and resulted in the installation of a quite stunning ceiling, which was also set around our cornice C480.

BESPOKE CEILINGS WHICH RESULT IN TRULY ONE-OFF DESIGNS, SPECIFICALLY CREATED TO THE CLIENTS REQUIREMENTS, AND INSTALLED TO THE SAME CENTURY OLD STANDARDS.
A client may approach us with a very clear brief of what they want, possibly looking at replicating a historic ceiling from a photograph?
The proposed feature may well be fully designed by the architect with a set of drawings presented to us?
Or as is often the case, we deal with the client directly, who is looking for inspiration and ideas of options. Normally one or two design consultations begin to form a clear understanding of the clients vision, and from there final designs are pulled together, manufactured, and installed to turn the dream to reality.
